Prep cook wanted in Miami County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a prep cook in Miami County, Ohio. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays Overtime paid at a premium rate.
