Vacancy available: we are hiring a renovation plasterer in Pine County, Minnesota. On the job you will handle: • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
