Garment presser wanted in Union County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment presser in Union County, New Jersey. The job is in a busy laundry. On a typical shift you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Overtime paid at a premium rate.
