Rough terrain crane operator • Hamilton County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Hamilton County, Illinois. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
