Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Baker County, Oregon. You will be based on an industrial coating line. On the job you will handle: • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time You should have: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Willing to work shifts and overtime 1+ years on the tools preferred.
