Banquet server — Newport

Now hiring: we are hiring a banquet server in Newport, Wales. You will work at a rooftop bar and grill. Requirements: • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems Day-to-day duties: • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Clear and reset tables between covers • Follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules • Pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Upsell starters, desserts and beverages 1+ years on the tools preferred.
