Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Limestone County, Alabama. You will work in a garment export house. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day-to-day duties: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
