Immediate opening: we are hiring a retail butcher in Lake County, Ohio. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths The role involves stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
