Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. You will work at a halal meat counter. On a typical shift you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience.
