Join our team: tree and shrub pruner (Zamfara State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Maru, Zamfara State. You will be based in a public park. You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Your main tasks: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
