Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Augie, Kebbi State. The job is at a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
