Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Keffi, Nasarawa State. The job is on a new-build development. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one The role involves: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Full-time, day shift.
