Crawler dozer operator wanted in Umatilla County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Umatilla County, Oregon. You will be based at an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
