Finishing presser — Eleme

Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing presser in Eleme, Rivers State. Your main tasks: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
