Now hiring: we are hiring a halal butcher in Pawnee County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers On the job you will handle: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Six days a week, one day off.
