Horticulturist • Stephens County, Oklahoma

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Stephens County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a botanical garden. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers You will check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours.
