Immediate opening: shuttering carpenter (Washington)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Whitman County, Washington. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. Day-to-day duties: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops Ideal candidate: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
