Your main tasks: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 4+ years on the tools preferred.
