Head baker — Obi

Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Obi, Nasarawa State. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Day to day you will check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
