Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Edu, Kwara State. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
