Formwork erector — Weber County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork erector in Weber County, Utah. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
