Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Wright County, Iowa. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork The role involves: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
