Powder spray gun operator • Johnson County, Kansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder spray gun operator in Johnson County, Kansas. You will be based on an industrial coating line. On a typical shift you will cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns. Ideal candidate: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects 3+ years on the tools preferred.
