Meat cutter wanted in Jay County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat cutter in Jay County, Indiana. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Your main tasks: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Full-time with occasional weekends.
