Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat cutter in Colfax County, Nebraska. You should have: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter On a typical shift you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
