Articulated lorry driver • Nalbari, Assam

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Nalbari, Assam. The job is at a busy distribution depot. What we are looking for: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars We offer ₹18,000 per month plus benefits.
