Pastry baker — Marshall County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pastry baker in Marshall County, Kansas. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. The role involves laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; score the top of loaves before baking; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; load and unload the deck oven with a peel. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Accurate at weighing and following recipes 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $20 per hour plus benefits.
