Counter butcher — Jos South

Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Jos South, Plateau State. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Day-to-day duties: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
