Toolroom milling operator • Cardiff, Wales

Join our team: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Cardiff, Wales. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Day to day you will keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Six days a week, one day off.
