Immediate opening: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Dodge County, Georgia. The job is at a halal meat counter. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required The role involves: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Six days a week, one day off.
