Oven operator — Sioux County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an oven operator in Sioux County, Nebraska. You will be based in a bread factory. Day-to-day duties: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate 6+ years on the tools preferred.
