Vacancy available: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Nome Census Area, Alaska. You will work at a busy earthworks site. Your main tasks: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant Part-time with flexible hours.
