Furnace operator wanted in Sibsagar

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in Sibsagar, Assam. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Day-to-day duties: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Part-time with flexible hours. ₹21,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
