Press machine operator wanted in Dade County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press machine operator in Dade County, Georgia. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. The role involves: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
