Pastry baker wanted in Clay County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pastry baker in Clay County, Texas. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. Your main tasks: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Score the top of loaves before baking • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand Ideal candidate: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker Part-time with flexible hours.
