Trainee butcher • Winnebago County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Winnebago County, Illinois. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day On a typical shift you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled.
