Tower crane operator wanted in Tarrant County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Tarrant County, Texas. You will be based on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) The role involves: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity Six days a week, one day off.
