We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat cutter in Harris County, Texas. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. On the job you will handle: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Season and marinate meat on request • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Part-time with flexible hours.
