Horticulturist — Houston County

Join our team: we are hiring a horticulturist in Houston County, Texas. You will be based in a public park. On a typical shift you will rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish 6+ years on the tools preferred.
