Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Taylor County, Florida. The job is at a garment factory. The role involves: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
