On a typical shift you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling 3+ years on the tools preferred.
