Now hiring: we are hiring a meat cutter in Box Butte County, Nebraska. You will work at a halal meat counter. The role involves mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; season and marinate meat on request; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
