Lathe operator • Umatilla County, Oregon

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe operator in Umatilla County, Oregon. What we are looking for: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings The role involves: • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
