Great opportunity: we are hiring a joiner in Kirklees, England. Day to day you will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
