Now hiring: we are hiring a bench joiner in Hale County, Texas. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Your main tasks: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
