Restaurant steward wanted in Alexander County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Alexander County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place • Upsell starters, desserts and beverages • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu • Pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left • Check back during the meal and handle special requests • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table Requirements: • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems Full-time with occasional weekends.
