Now hiring: we are hiring a retail butcher in Dandume, Katsina State. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. The role involves: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 4+ years on the tools preferred.
