Finishing presser wanted in Winnebago County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing presser in Winnebago County, Illinois. You will be based in a busy laundry. The role involves: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Six days a week, one day off.
