Cnc production machinist — Peoria County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Peoria County, Illinois. You will work in a tool room. You will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
