Immediate opening: plasterer's mate (Yobe State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Fika, Yobe State. The job is on a busy domestic building site. Day-to-day duties: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush Requirements: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Six days a week, one day off.
